COACHING CATEGORIES
| Grade 1 Coach | Coaches who have attended/completed a coaching course and shown a good understanding of the guidelines/rules. They are able to introduce beginners to polo and coach them safely through to high goal polo over a period of time |
| Grade 2 Coach | Coaches who have attended/completed a coaching course and shown a good understanding of the guidelines/rules. They are able to introduce beginners to polo and coach them safely through to low goal polo over a period of time |
| Grade 3 Coach | Coaches who have attended/completed a coaching course/clinic and shown an understanding of the guidelines including the rules and positioning for basic plays. They are able to introduce beginners to polo safely through to chukka level |
| Grade 4 Coach | Coaches who have attended/completed a coaching course/clinic and shown an understanding of the guidelines and able to assist a coach with a group |

Coaching courses will be conducted from time to time where the services of a senior coach and / or the HPA will be enlisted to run refresher courses and update present or new aspirant coaches to polo coaching. Dates and venues of these will be advertised in SAPA Newsletters and the website
