PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The five polo Provinces (Natal, Cape, Free State, Highveld & East Griqualand) host their own Provincial Championships. These are usually three-day tournaments that are held in the earlier part of the winter season after which the Provincial teams that compete in the Inter-Provincial Tournament are announced. Senior players and promising youngsters vie with each other in these important Championships as they are the first rung on the ladder towards selection for Provincial and then National teams.
